Why Use Prismacolor Verithin Pencils?
Prismacolor Verithin Pencils make a great addition to any prismacolor premier pencil set. The difference is that these pencils are, as their name suggests, thin and harder than the premier pencils. This makes them perfect for detail and small area work, as they can be sharpened to a very fine point.
Another thing that people have reiterated in their reviews of these pencils is that, because they are meant for detailing purposes and because they have a much harder point than the premier pencils, these pencils can last for years.
Prismacolor offers 12 sets, 24 sets, and 36 sets. All of these sets offer a great selection of colors.

Why Use Prismacolor Pencils?
Depending on the techniques used, prismacolors can be used to create a number of different looks and feels. The pencils leave a smooth and creamy appearence, regardless of whether you are pressing hard on the pencil for the look of a "painted piece" or pressing lightly to create a much softer or lighter piece. This work-in-progress was done with using pencils from the Prismacolor 48 pencil set.
The pencils have a unique feature that I have found different from other pencils. The wax in the pencils allows for easy blending when pressing down on the pencils. They are also easily blended when layered.
Prismacolor offers different-numbered sets as well, which offers endless creativity!
